The amazing dance for an amazing cause
Mini-THON is a nationwide movement where high school students raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research. Council Rock South High School in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, has been actively participating in this event for years, and this year was no different. On Friday, March 10th, 2023, Council Rock South held its annual Mini-THON, and Pulse Entertainment provided the music.
The event was held in the school’s gymnasium, which was transformed into a mini-carnival. The theme for this year’s Mini-THON was “Carnival for a Cure,” and the decorations and activities reflected this theme. There were games like ring toss, balloon darts, and a mini-golf course. There was also a photo booth, face painting, and a caricature artist. Students could purchase tickets to play the games and participate in the activities, and all of the money raised went directly to the Four Diamonds Fund.
The Four Diamonds Fund is a non-profit organization that helps to cover the cost of medical treatment for children with cancer and also funds research to find a cure for pediatric cancer. Mini-THON events are held across the country to raise money for this cause, and Council Rock South has been one of the top fundraising schools in Pennsylvania for several years.
Pulse Entertainment provided the music for the event, and they did an excellent job of keeping the energy level high throughout the night. The DJs played a mix of popular songs, and students could request their favorite tunes. There was also a dance contest, and students had a chance to show off their best moves on the dance floor. MC Cole led some fun games and interactive dances to enhance the fun for the students as well.
Overall, the Mini-THON at Council Rock South was a huge success. The event raised thousands of dollars for the Four Diamonds Fund, and students had a great time while supporting a worthy cause. The organizers of the event, as well as Pulse Entertainment, deserve a round of applause for their hard work and dedication to this important cause.
